I first bought it at 1.15 which was at the high at the time. I sold at 1.40 on Thursday, after having delayed it even when the the first bearish sign appeared on 13.03 with a big black candle. Chartwise, Padini is moving downwards and is likely to remain bearish although some bulls appeared yesterday to support it at 1.40 and 1.41. But volume at 1.56m is low. I may be wrong; but it looks to me that Padini is in for a long fall, before finding support at 1.10 perhaps. Fundamentally it is a good stock with very good earning potentials. I will of course buy it gain once its chart shows an upwards bias. My target price for this stock is 1.80.

PS: I've a bias towards fundamentals. I try to combine them with TA. So far, it has worked well.

How is this WCT performed？

Hi all, mind to share some comment on this company, will it be good for investing long term for this company?

klci in red

time to shop. many good stocks on cheap sale today. mbsb, drbhcom, genm etc. be cautious. good luck. :)

FCPO july contract

bearish territory

After reading the announcement several time i still don't understand but it sounds bad to me.

Illustration from the announcement:

For example, if Mr X owns or purchases 1000 TIMECOM shares (of RM1.00 par value each) on cum basis on 10 May 2012, his CDS account would
still show 1000 TIMECOM shares (of RM1.00 par value each)) until 15 May 2012. However, as a result of the above Capital Repayment and Capital Restructuring exercise, Mr X’s 1000 TIMECOM shares of RM1.00 each in his CDS account will be adjusted to 200 TIMECOM shares of RM0.50 each on the night of 15 May 2012 which is the Book Closing Date. Therefore Mr X may, if he so wishes, sells only up to 200 TIMECOM shares of RM0.50 each on or after the Ex-date i.e. from 11 May 2012 onwards.

Does it mean i that 1000unit@RM1 become 200unit@RM0.50??

P/S: I am new in stock

Cup-and-handle

Digistar has been forming a Cup-and-handle formation since June 2011. Major break-out soon?

I took into the consideration of this:-

Supporting the formation:
- Uptrend before the formation
- Except for the slight rise in November 2011, otherwise the U-shape cup was solidly formed
- Volume dried out in the current potential "handle"

Not-supporting the formation:-
- Huge run-up prior to the Cup formation, which decrease the chances of more run-ups
- The peak at the end of the U-shape cup was much higher than the beginning one, which may not comply to the Cup-and-handle theory (= U-shape should have same peak at both ends)
- Handle fell too low. According to Cup-and-handle theory, the general rule is a downward movement of 1/3 the Cup.

However, given the low P/E, I do expect more run-up in the future.
